We are the Revolution (A tribute to Joseph Beuys)
A call to artists to submit performance for projects to be part of Perfochoroní IV International Festival of Performance Choroní 2009 - 2010, to be held the first week of January 2010, in tribute to the artist and German shareholder

In 1972, Beuys became "We are the revolution", taking a giant step in expanding the arts in confined spaces to the open field of action.
In 2009, more than 30 years later, it should ask the following questions: Is the performance art of the revolution step referred to Beuys? Are the artists of the revolutionary performance included in this important step? What is the step that must be today? How much body artists today identify with the "revolution" proposed by Beuys?
CONCEPT
"We are the Revolution" (1972) is the masterpiece of Joseph Beuys. Of all the actions of Beuys, "We are the revolution" has been classified as a "self". The photographic image in black and white, postcard size, the artist taking a step. It is presented as "self-portrait of the artist, but in truth the act goes much further: It is an action that takes the simple step, the basic element of walking, and transforms it into an artwork.
