A man .- Laurentzi Santos on experience of the engineer Ricardo Gorsd, has officially launched his candidacy for mayor of the Municipality Girardot, present Choroni logic, and their plans are effective and not much fuss, but rather from direct contact with all sectors to seek ways, through meetings, going in search of quick solutions on the problems that beset us as inhabitants of this beloved state of Aragua.
Gorsd is in Caracas, but most of his life has given Aragua, where he has made his family and has come to occupy important positions, including management Savir (Autonomous Service of Rural Housing) and president Center Engineers Aragua.
As such, it is the bearer of the party Patria Para Todos.
Believes that in choosing the candidate identified with the socialist revolution, which coordinates the president Hugo Chávez Frías, no controversy, because there are only two: himself and the deputy Pedro Bastidas, and I am sure that both are clear that it should prevail a unified vision.
Do you think there is serious discontent among the Psuv and the PPT?
All of this seems normal in a democratic process, but we must be clear that this creates discomfort and sacrifice.
Patria Para Todos has to respect a clear unified position on the basis that none of the candidates is fixed, because the only basis is that President Chavez Frias. Others may be subject to review and they should make an assessment of their potential, and should not be the only candidate preference, but to win, in truth, to govern well, since a failure of management, would fatal to the revolutionary process itself.
We mean that we are happy with some communities, as many councils have shown their dissatisfaction with the Psuv, and asked to integrate PPT, but they say that it is not necessary because the important thing is to unite efforts.
There have been important meetings in Brisas del Lago, Base Sucre, San Rafael and others, and there have been approaches and have been heard.
Do you think this process, even revolutionary, reforms needed?
-Be clear that we face, about the elections on November 23, a transition process, because after this we're going to have success with the people, must take firm that we must seek is the consolidation of participatory democracy and non-representative, since that is the basis of socialism.
Based on this, we propose new models of participation, and through which society and its concerns, we encourage the conduct of assemblies in each sector, and that, legally and signed in Ontario, formed schemas, so that out there the true representatives of each sector and will soon seek solutions. For example, factors such as sport, housing, health, etc.. Etc.
We have talked for instance with the bullfighting industry that has arisen that they would like to revive the bullfights Friday. This is an example. They would need to perform an assembly and choose who will represent them and speak with the respective authorities to seek solutions. Only those who do not comply will be legally sued because they set the authorities designated by them.
IT HAPPENS IN THAT OTHER FACTORS
What raised you to our city of Maracay?
In this we are very clear. I suggest making a Maracay city welcoming and friendly, where they can live.
One of the most serious problems we must face is that of automobile traffic, a daily drama that increases stress and strangers.
To do this, no doubt, we must reorganize and transit systems around this daily chaos in our city.
We schedule to begin construction of two high Avenue José Casanova Godoy, and control throughout the city, the amounts of traffic that often are not as required and contribute to road chaos.
The other point is the elimination of some stops that they do is increase the problem, like that which runs from Park Avenue to Aragua Casanova Godoy.
Another factor would be to widen some roads and repair most of them, and where the gaps Sartenejas, such as at the vial of the airplane, are a headache for drivers.
And for vendors?
That is another headache, for example, the presence of informal economy workers into the streets as Miranda and Bolivar, where in reality and there is no room where to go.
What we do have clear is that we disagree with the elimination of these parents who have to keep a daily sustenance to their homes.
We know there is a building for vendors, but this has been a failure, because the vendors have to be is the most movement. Therefore, we should give priority to the passer, and that these workers pay some taxes, as well, they could implement a system according to their needs, in the sense that there could be a center of the informal economy, but dedicated to Tourist factor, as in many cities.
Likewise, we must begin to stop this nonsense business with stores that have some vendors, and thus not taxed.
Another case that concerns us, and we are going to be faced is the collection of solid waste, as it is outrageous that many unscrupulous traders are given the task of completing its work and lay waste to the street as usual. That must stop.
In the same way we have to find solutions to the garbage dump in San Vicente, as there are modern methods that can eliminate these phenomena.
And what says the ornament of the city?
-We must implement systems for the rescue of our green programs, but the parks, plazas and walkways craft, and that this is an ongoing process and that only ever agreed to elections.
The other point that we have on our agenda is the massification of sport, particularly at youth, as they agree with a lot of work to be done at the level of neighborhoods, much could be done to curb progress of crime and drugs. We must build and maintain the athletic fields that exist in communities. This would strengthen exchanges in the sports community, with a projection to other states and even internationally.
What message would have to maracayeros?
Not sure that they are always saying we should hold them all. "Anyone who has been and remains to be, come back." Therefore, we must be clear that we need to humanize and strengthen Choroni Maracay, which should be a national and international tourism potential.
Let's work together because we are indebted to our beloved Municipality.
