The candidate for mayor of Girardot by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Bastidas, maintenance of equipment delivered to the environmental organization Green All Choroni for carrying
a day of cleaning called "awakening", which aims to recover waste from Colombia to Puerto Romerito and sensitize people about ecology.

The cleaning operation takes place in the villages of Choroni, through the collaboration of community boards, and the Playa Grande sector where the most concentrated amount of waste and garbage.
The visit to the coastal town spread around last weekend to participate in the day of garbage collection, which includes the collection of bottles, waste materials and organic solids.
Borelis highlighted the contribution made by the candidate Pedro Bastidas for the execution of this operation, "as it is the first gift we receive from the government sector to accomplish this task beautiful environmentalist."
